This car is coming out a customer of ours that is a serious private collector, he commissioned us to sell this magnificent survivor. He bought the car from original owner around 3 years ago, this are his comments:
1979 Trans Am Special Edition given to the original owner for his 17th birthday. All paperwork included including original canceled check from his father, sales contracts, build sheets, etc. Always garaged and stored properly. He did not want to damage the car because he was so proud of it. He kept it in his grandmothers garage for decades, driving it sparingly on nice days over the years. The only things I have done to the car since I purchased it are to put new tires on and record the radiator and restore the heater core just as a safety measure. Freshly service. The car looks feels and smells like a new car. Ice cold, air conditioning and hot heat. the paint is absolutely beautiful with minor checking on the top of the right rear quarter panel as you may expect from original 45 year old single stage paint and might had a touch up here or there after nearly 5 decades,  the car is gorgeous and is nearly 100% ORIGINAL!. All weather-stripping is soft and supple. The car does not squeak, rattle, or make any noises when you drive it, Including from the T tops. The car  was undercoated at dealer back in the day to prevent any rust. . Starts up instantly and idle smoothly. No vibration or any sounds while driving. Many people stopped me and asked me who restored the car! They are stunned when I tell them it is not restore that it is completely original. Coming out of a private collection in Los Angeles, this car is absolutely beautiful, and would make a great addition to any car collection. We have seen and looked this car personally and can say is among the nicest un-restored samples left  out there, kept indoors and babied by its current owner who is a very meticulous car guy. 💵 Asking Price is $99,900.00 probably worth way more at any auction, however we just lowered the price as an incentive for those who know this car will be 6 figures soon, a great investment collectors grade car!
