Thanks for visiting our web site , what you see here is a stunning, all matching numbers real Black 1977 Pontiac Trans Am coded 19U 19L with added Special Edition Package, this car belonged to my friend Jim down here in Florida, we inspected the car, test drive it and purchased from him since the car was in extreme beautiful shape. We did not restore this car , but we did fix many things the car needed, and corrected many things that were wrong , we can surely recognize if a car is good or not, and this one was too good to let it pass. This car has a showroom exterior I would rate close to 9 being 10 perfect, there are no cracks on the spoilers, no chips, no scratches, no dents. Is a black car and black cars are very hard to keep in perfect shape, I am sure previous owner had a hard time keeping this beauty away from road debris, rocks and other cars of course. This car is correct year and is exactly like the one in the movie Smokey and the Bandit!

She comes with its factory Matching numbers 1977 Pontiac T/A 400 ci engine, with less than 20k miles on rebuilt, drives like a champ (see video) is fast and purrs like a kitten, I was told it was bored out .30 over with mild cam engine and set of new flow masters give the engine a real nice rumble it drives smooth and very responsive, the Bandit would envy this one! It comes also with Hurst t-tops, with all new weather stripping . All original manuals.

This beauty is also matching color as per cowl tag, 19U 19 L Original starlight black, A/C has been totally gone through with new lines and blows ice cold, which is a must if you live in South Florida, or any other hot state, or country (we sell overseas and can help with shipping), SO BUYER FROM OTHER COUNTRIES ARE WELCOMED TO BID, BUT PLEASE CONTACT US BEFORE TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE REAL. Previous owner was a painter, and did an excellent job, specially being a black car, it will be hard to find imperfections, but there very few that only an expert eye will see, I can tell this TA will make people drop their jaws as you drive down the road. Full SE package was added with highest quality decals from Phoenix Graphics, even the stripes are the pre molded ones that are hard to apply but worth the effort (see photos). Comes with ORIGINAL 1977 seats , not repos, 100% original and in excellent shape considering are 30+ year old, door panels are nice, plastic bottoms very good shape... carpet has no issues, head liner just replaced with correct PVC padded perforated vinyl one. Dash is original and in beautiful shape, no cracks and steering wheel is brand new. Center console excellent shape. All the gauges are working perfect , and snowflakes are correct size (15 x 7) and they come with correct metal wheel caps with brand new GM red birds emblems. Tires have good thread so no need to replace for many miles to come.

The paint and body are laser straight on this car. I have been told is a new PPG two stage base clear coat that has been wet sanded three times and buffed to a black mirror shine. Paint will not disappoint! Among other options: Tilt wheel, power windows, locks and trunk. Power locks not working though, but rest is fully functional and will fix if buy it now is used. As a plus you will get a very nicely installed pioneer C/D radio and 6x9's Infinity base speaker with self powered amp. This car runs and drives as good as it looks that's why we added it to our showroom, but remember is a 30 year old car, not a 2007, nicely restored and you will probably find imperfections like any other old car, keep that in mind . Odometer shows twenty something thousands miles , which probably a hundred and twenty thousand miles, but keep in mind engine was rebuild and car was maintained in top shape, it really drives like a 20k miles car.

Last thoughts: the car is extreme solid, no rust anywhere I could see or find, rear spoiler decal should be above the stripe, I can correct that with new stripe and decal if buy it now is used, otherwise can do at your expense. Reserve is close to buy it now so if you want to make sure this car will be for you don't waste time, somebody will take it, specially now with YEAR ONE asking $130,000 (thats starting price) for a modified Trans Am. This cars will only go up in price. This car is not an SE , is a tribute, a car that you can drive with no fear, documented SE's in this shape are skyrocketing above $40k, don't miss this one if you are looking for an original matching number 1977 TA, there are few out there in this mint shape.
