1977 Pontiac Trans Am Special Ed

This beautiful sample of 77 Special Edition Y82 is real piece to have in your collection, only 6,030 SE t top L78 with automatic tranny out of 68,745 Trans Ams produced in 1977 (By the way this car exactly same used on movie Smokey and the Bandit) , that makes it rare and highly collectible. Car has A/C , Factory Am/Fm radio (not installed but comes with car, now a nice kenwood) , 8 track, cruise control, Factory Vinyl Deluxe seats that are original I would adventure to say like new for a 31 year old car. Car comes fully documented with build sheet (half only survived) and window sticker, and best of all 69k ORIGINAL MILES as title states!

Car was always garaged, I purchased this car from 4th owner, he explained me he bought from a lady that owned the car many years. Also told me that he was told most of paint is original, with minor touch up on drivers side door and rear quarter. No rust anywhere, looks the car was clear coated at some point to protect paint, still shines as you see and of course it has minor imperfections. So you will find very small dings hard to notice in both sides. Some pin stripping shows age as you would expect, decals are in good shape, hood bird had some flaking that was cut with a razor so is not very noticeable, from 10-20 feet you can't even notice, Again this car is valuable because is pretty untouched, and we can restore for you if you are looking for showroom exterior, call us to discuss.

This car is matching numbers, factory automatic transmission that makes it very desirable, the car drives tight like a very low mile car, all the exhaust including Catalytic converter is like factory, not modified. This car drives smooth like on a cushion on air, this is the way they use to drive when new!!! no rattles, no squeaks. Correct red emblem for 1977 Special Edition (gold is for 78 and up), tires are brand new and snowflake rims (factory) have no issues, and of course they come with the original round metal caps that usually missing on all this cars....

Look at that interior, all original!!! no rips, no tears, no cracks, no fade on black plastic panels... if there is wear somewhere is hard to notice! no missing seat belt guides like most cars you see for sale, no cigarette burns on center console...

Engine runs like a champ, no smoke, no rattles, no hesitation to start, even when cold. Pretty clean and presentable, original blue light color can bee observed on block, as far as we can see only compressor seems to have been replaced. no missing flex hose or ducts as many trans ams, Cruise control works! I cant believe how original this car is....no modifications or alterations, just like factory, so if you look for the real deal this is the car for you.

As said before this car is so solid, look at those rust free floors, still show the red oxide factory primer, I can't remember the last time I saw this original clean floors....

This car is an excellent investment for the near future, this car are projected to duplicate its value, right now Y82 Special Editions are flying for $50,000 and up. This is a 31 year old car, is in great shape but still and old muscle car, muscle cars always leak some drops of oil, muscle cars are carbureted so in the morning you have to step on the gas to make it start (this car maybe the exception, starts right away), this cars were not perfect from factory, so If you don't understand this please do not even try to buy one, is 1977 Trans Am Special Edition like the one in the Movie Smokey and the Bandit, not a 2008 model.
