This car just came out of a private collection, it's all original with only 5593 miles, no typo here, EVEN TIRES ARE ORIGINAL POLYSTEEL RADIALS . This is a TRUE Original 10th Anniversary car from 1979 Y89 code . This is only one of 5,683 produced in 1979 with the automatic transmission . This car comes fully loaded with Power Windows, Power locks, Power trunk, Air Conditioning, Rear Defogger, original 8-track cassette player with working power antenna!  Fisher T-tops with Original storage bags, WS6 handling package with the 15x8 Turbo wheels factory original tires, yes original!

Exterior

The car still wear its original factory paint in excellent shape for a car almost 30 years old, as you must know the paint back in the 70's was not as perfect as today's cars, however this car looks almost like new, except for 2 minor door dings that are hard to notice, to very unnoticeable fine scratches and a couple of stripes that flaked, but besides that car in awesome shape. Front grilles are like new, taillights show no wear, window moldings are excellent shape except front upper windshield molding has lost a small section of black paint (very popular in this cars, and very easy to re touch)

Interior

This car has a stunning all original interior, no cracks in the dash, no fade on plastic interior panels, steering wheel is mint no fade no cracks, original radio, original carpet that is clean, original door panels. The only small section that I found is not perfect is a slight dryness in passenger seat cushion, but is hard to notice.

 

Engine & Undercarriage

This car is one of the lowest mile 10th anniversary you will find out there, the original 403 engine starts at first crank with no hesitation, this car is rust free, it was rust proof coated (Ziebarted) at the dealers (see photo of door sticker), the engine is all complete and still shows the OK stamp in the drivers side valve cover. The A/C needs recharge but is all there , car was stored for many years and is obvious you will need to address small things and clean for show.

Final thoughts

This car comes from a collection that is being reduced, this car is a true collectible that will only increase in value, when inspected all it needed was a new battery, once installed it started right away. I drove the car and is tight like a new car, it shift trough gear with easy and the engine is very responsive. I did not reach high speeds since it has 28 year old tires and I did not want to risk to damage the car or have an accident. I had many 10th anniversaries and this is the sweetest original one of the best ones I have seen. Please understand the car is 28 years old in original condition, not a 2007.
