1999 30th
Anniversary Trans Am #456
of 1500 made for the U.S.
(100 went to Canada for a total of 1600). Of the total
run in the U.S. 1000 were t-tops and 500 were
convertibles.
- This car is an automatic,
t-top non traction-control
car.
- It currently has
approximately 51,000 miles. had only 43,000 miles about
5 years ago.
- The car is in extremely
well kept condition, always babied and garaged.
- oil changes on it
religiously with synthetic oil only. Recent oil change,
less than 100 miles ago
- The car has new BFG
g-force sport tires.
- I replaced the shifter
handle because the original one dried out.
- I also replaced the low
tone horn because it had burnt out.
- It has new front rotors
and new pads.
- Flowmaster muffler with
SLP type dual tips
- The blue tint on the
wheels is not faded at all.
- Has K+N air filter with
whisper lid
- New driver’s side power
window motor
The bad:
-
One very minor dent on
driver’s side headlamp door (will not come out in
pictures), with one minor scratch on driver’s side hood
stripe. See pic
-
On the driver side door
edge near lock mechanism is a 1 inch spot that was
poorly touched up. See pic
Extras (Alone worth
approximately $1,000):
-
Extra set of
original 30th Anniversary Floor mats, though
one was damaged with pool supplies and I tried using
fabric dye to fix it. It didn’t come out too great.
However, the car still has the original 30th
anniversary floor mats in it that are good.
-
A pair of new of dealer
posters
-
30th
anniversary trans am Matchbox type car still in box
-
Owners manual leather
type carrier (blue and white) with personal vehicle ID
card
-
Personalized 30th
Anniversary baseball cap with build number stitched on
the side
-
30th
Anniversary key chains with two sets of keys and remotes
-
NEW- Extra set of
Original GM door badges, and Blue WS6 badge. Nothing
wrong with emblems currently on car. I bought extras as
a precaution (Good thing I bought them since they are no
longer available.)
-
New GM fog lights
installed last month
The car runs extremely well. No
rattles, leaks or known problems. The interior
shows typical wear for white
leather, but has held up well for its age.
I don’t really need or want to
sell but it hasn’t seen daylight in 6 weeks, would
rather see someone enjoy this car.
If you
don’t like being stared at… then don’t buy this
car. It attracts a lot of attention.
This car is not a trailer
queen/show car; however itis an extremely
nice driver. The car placed first at the Hurricane
Chapter/POCI show and shine in the 4th gen
class in 2005 and I didn’t even wax it for the event!!
The car finished second place in
2006 and 2007.
The car was never raced.
