1976 Trans Am Cameo White Automatic

 REF#00911  SOLD

Vehicle Description

I have owned this car since 1980 – it was my heart and soul in high school!   J

It needs a full restoration.  400-4speed Auto.

Had aggressive cam installed in ’81, along with shift kit in the transmission

Same year I removed single exhaust and cat/converters – gave it dual / straight exhaust to original chrome dual tips

Have a Holly 650 that I used to put on it in Summers, stored it in bar in the winters after 1981.

Originally a Michigan car, was very well kept and stored inside for the time I owned it; but has been stored outside under a car cover in South Florida since 2001 after my mother passed away and lost use of the barn in Michigan.

100% complete – nothing missing except the original hood decal – had to get replacement hood to do sliding under bumper of an old Cutlass back in ’83 at a light.

Rust is present – it was a Michigan car; from my estimation – would need new hood and trunk lid, and maybe lower LR quarter panel; rockers are bad, too.  Interior is good – for 40 years old, with crack on passenger side of dash that happened from a drunk buddy in high school punching it back in ‘82.

I do not believe it will start at this time – had a friend attempt a bit ago, and did not have any luck.

Has Keystone Classic rims on it – deep-dish in rear, std up front.

Have all 4 original Honeycomb Rims as well

Have original jack and spare – might still have original radio and 8-track somewhere as well

Even with all her “spots” / blemishes – she still looks good from a few feet away.
Love to restore her, but about to go out on my own to start a business – so need every penny.

Was lovingly cared for, for the first 20 years I owned her – literally used a tooth brush on the interior and weekly waxing.  Last 13 here in FL are the harder years.

I have reproductions of order sheet and window sticker from PHS

Even have trophy from the 1983, 6th annual Trans Am Nationals in Michigan – took 2nd place on the track

Great car for father/son project – wish I had time and $$ to do it now, but need the $$ for new business.

I’ll gladly tell you all I know about it – nothing to hide.  She was my baby – but time to let her

TO PURCHASE THIS CAR CALL RICH AT ASKING ONLY $4,500  reduced to $3,500.00
