This Car was been completely rebuilt about 4 years ago
with just over 1,000 miles since rebuild. Just doesn't
get used like it should and stays in storage most of the
time. Won best in class at the 2013 World of Wheels in
New Orleans. It is a 1981 Trans Am with a 1976 Pontiac
455 bored .030 over, 6H heads recondition by (Darr
Engine service) Installed New 2.11/1.66 valves (124.51cc
head volume) matching springs for a Comp Extreme 268H
Cam, Magnum Roller Rocker arms, Pontiac HEI Distributor,
Edelbrock Carb. 750CFM model 1407, New TH400 Street
fighter Transmission/2300 stall converter, Headman
Headers (Jet Hot ceramic coated after cam broken in) New
chrome GM alternator, Edelbrock aluminum intake
manifold, water pump, water pump housing, valve covers,
power steering pump, thermostat, all new sending units,
motor mounts, heavy duty starter, aluminum 3 core
radiator with dual electric cooling fans, new printed
circuit board for electronics, wiper motor with washer
pump, washer fluid bottle, radiator overflow bottle,
battery, entire stainless motor bolt kit. New Heater
core, evaporator, condenser, sanden R134a compressor,
new a/c lines with new drier and 134a orifice. 4 new
15X8 Snowflake wheels wrapped with BF Goodrich Radial
T/A tires Rear-P255/60R15, Front-P235/60R15, Modified
shaker cold air induction scoop with stainless steel
screen, 3.08 posi traction rear end, Removed sub frame
and rear end to blast and paint. New Body bushings,
control arm bushings, ball joints, sway bar bushings,
tie rod ends and sleeves, sensa-trac shocks, front
bearings, brake booster/master cylinder, brake hose and
lines, 4 calipers and rotors, gas tank, u-joints,
stainless body bolt kit. New front windshield
re-installed rear glass to assure no leaks (Accurate
Glass) Interior: New upholstery on all seats and sun
visors (ABC Upholstery), Restored both front seatbelts
(Snake-Oyl) New carpet, carpet under-lay-ment, dash cap,
door panels, door rest, headliner, center console with
new center glove box with at new lid, new kick panels,
new weather-stripping on the entire car, trunk carpet,
sill plates, Kenwood KDC-MP342U CD-Receiver with remote,
Kenwood KFC-6982ie 6"x9" 5-way Speakers, Kicker KS350
3-1/2" 2-way Car Speakers. Photo documented the entire
restoration. Just over $40,000 invested in the car and
asking $29,000. When the car is not in my garage it
stays in it's own 24' enclosed air conditioned car
hauler.
