The GTX
was created as a top performance car based on Plymouth Belvedere model, and it was considered the Gentleman’s hot rod car as per automotive reviews. Handling, power and refined style was all about this car. As you must know they only produced 15,602 cars in 1969 and the only engines available for this powerful vehicle were 440 and 426 hemi, both with similar ft-lb power.This particular car has a real rare combination green/white highly desirable by collectors
Green metallic exterior with “painted” white top (as shown on fender tag) and an exquisite white interior that accents this fine sample of hard to find Mopar muscle car. Just take a look to the pics shown below and avoid drooling…if possible.
This car comes out of a private collection of a very good friend of mine and I can guarantee you will hardly find a better sample with all original components except one repaint 10 years ago.
INTERIOR
The interior in this car is all original and I would rate it flawless considering is a 38 year old car. The white seats look like new with no tears or rips or fading. Carpet and headliner are just perfect. Door panels also very good shape , and center console is outstanding condition.
Dash is incredible shape, no cracks or fading, and all gauges work properly look at the photos and convince yourself.
I can say is the best GTX interior I have seen in many years.
ENGINE
This gorgeous MOPAR vehicle is powered by the very desirable 440 V8 that produces an amazing
375bhp@4600rpm and 480lb-ft@3200rpm. More than enough to nail you in the seat when you floor it, and of course will fry the tires with no effort, but hey you don’t plan to abuse her, do you?This car has mere 70k original miles on it and I understand only 2 owners as per title documents presented to me.
The engine runs strong, no smoke , no rattles, no knocks, no overheating , period. It just starts at first crank and drives like new.
As you can see engine compartment is clean and all original, the block is spotless, painted in enrom with fender tag and typical decals in perfect shape, just ready to show it off.
The engine has been maintained in top condition with all the proper oil changes and complete all the complete care deserved .
UNDERCARRIAGE
THIS CAR IS AS SOLID AS IT CAN GET, PERIOD, LOOK AT THE NON UNDERCOATED FLOOR BOARDS, JUST AMAZING! No rust anywhere
